The owners opened the Birmingham restaurant after success with a couple of other locations in Florida, and just like in the Sunshine State, you'll find simple dishes made with simple ingredients. Open for lunch and brunch only, come and order some chicken and waffles and wash it down with a sweet tea, it doesn't get any more quintessentially Southern than this.

Awesome shrimp & grits! Enjoyed our meal and meeting mama and daughter!
This was my first visit and I must say very impressive. The meal I had (the special pork chops mac & cheese and greens with cornbread) the staff very polite and on top of their game. Will definitely come back. Alabama, Chicago still rocks though!
If you are ever in Birmingham,AL and is hungry make sure you stop at Yo' Momma. I promise you won't be disappointed. The grits and shrimp are on point.
Whenever I come home I have to come for the chicken and waffles!!!! Definitely one of the highlights of my visit ☺️
