About this business

This low-key Rick Bayless eatery is inspired by Mexican street taco stands. Bayless serves up creative tortas, sandwiches, and a number of caldos (soups), sure to warm anyone up on a cold winter day. The pozole is a healthier take on the traditional dish. The pozole is made with chicken instead of pork, and though it is usually served on weekends at most Mexican eateries, here it's served here daily. One of my favorite restaurants in the world. So many great memories enjoying the Ahogoda or Aztec chocolates.

The service was friendly and helpful since it was my first time there! I had the Wood-Oven Chilaquiles and let me tell you, I was transported back to Saturday mornings when I was a kid and my father made this dish. It was EXCELLENT!!! The atmosphere was laid back and the decor reminded me of the photos I've seen of my paternal grandmothers home. The love of the culture and food shows. I will definitely be back again and again!
