Ripoffs disguised as deals with no support. Bought a refurb that went on sale hours later brand new for the same price and can't cancel without some unknown shipping cost.

I ordered a jacket and it came in with a defective zipper and missing decals - that was shown in the picture - customer service is nonexistent - no phone number or chat & after 5 emails - no response - stay far away from this company!!! - I will have to call my bank and dispute the charge

On Oct 13th I ordered a set of Sony WH-1000XM4 Refurbished from Woot. They were quick to get them out and I received them a few days later. When I opened the box the box was labeled as containing XM4s but upon opening the case I discovered that the headphones them selves were the older XM3s. I wanted to get a 1:1 replacement but in trying to get CS to do this they asked me to wait 2 to 3 business days. We are sorry about the issue that you had with your order. There was an issue with one of our vendors, and we are actively working to fix the problem. Our receiving team processes all returns and issues refunds as soon as the item is returned back to our warehouse (not including weekends and holidays). The amount of time that it takes for the refund to reach your account depends on your bank.
This business which I've never heard of, has hacked my account and tried to withdraw a charge of $764. They are a scam and must be CHARGED for their CRIMES!

I was checking one of my credit cards and found 2 charges to Woot Inc. (never heard of until now) and called my cc companies security/fraud dept. My credit card company had never heard of them before either but they had charged over $1600.00 on my card in one day. Needless to say, the account is now being closed and investigated for fraud. I'm just happy that my credit card company was able to stop all this nonsense before the transactions were processed.

I've never heard of WOOT INC DOT, but my card was used to make a $941.76 purchase. My bank's fraud agency contacted me to verify the legitimacy, thankfully. However, my card is now blocked - on a bank holiday, and I'm told I must get a new card.
Classic bait-and-switch. I don't know how they haven't been shutdown. Woot has a habit of "accidentally" sending their customers the wrong item and offering ridiculously low/unfair partial refunds to keep the items they didn't order. In my case I ordered a 4k monitor for $300 and received a refurbished 1080p model. The monitor they sent me can be found on their parent company's website, Amazon, for about $150. Bought a pair of RayBan sunglasses that I love, the last pair I owned were damaged, so found the same model on Woot for $92 and decided to buy. They showed IN STOCK in both colors. What I received was a totally different model - that I can buy on other sites for $79. Total bait and switch. I emailed support for help - and they said they would "look" for replacements in the warehouse and get back to me in 2-3 business days, but no guarantees that the model I ordered would be available. Given that they are charging credit cards for the purchases, I am guessing that a two hour window for cancellations is illegal. After not receiving a shipping notification for a two days, I tried to cancel the order. I don't believe my rights under the credit card agreement would be protected if I waited for for days to pass. The prices looked too good to be true. If I receive a new watch (not a refurb, as others have complained about) or a refund, I will amend this review.
