Don't do it !!! They had me move into an unfinished apartment with no working AC, in which they had over a month to make ready before I actually arrived to move in. Then it takes 3 weeks to finally replace the ac system and still haven't herd back on when the repairs will be done. And don't get me started on how poorly done the renovations are ... absolutely worst job I've ever seen. Do yourself a favor don't make the same mistake as i did. Find a better place.
Same old Oak Hollow A new name doesn't make this place any better. There are still fleas everywhere. The apartments are still old and infested with roaches. The apartment staff is still rude and incompetent. The appliances are still old and energy wasters. The trash is still piling up every week. The noise us still infuriating. The neighbors are still shady and loud. This place is still the same old Oak Hollow
Love it here! When I sold my home of 35 years and began looking for an apartment, I was concerned about finding a place where I would be comfortable and feel at home. Woodlyn on the Green has been a wonderful place to live. The rent is on a par with other apartments in the area, but the apartments at Woodlyn are much larger with more character and lots of storage. Rip off An apartment run by con artists. Currently offering a chance st $50 dollars off the rent for good reviews. Please don't waste your money or time. They will steal both.
Cons outweigh the pros High vaulted ceilings are nice. Maintainence is prompt most of the time and friendly. Expect your rent to increase every year at least $20- $50 when you renew (it could be more since we just got a new leasing company). Utility bills are outrageous - usually $100 each month for 1 br. This is due to poor insulation as well as the "sun room", which has no temp control - blazing hot in summer and freezing in winter. I know people who pay less for utilities in an entire house. oak hollow Been here just over 3 years. Rent started at $695 and is now over $935. Time to move out!
Oak Hollow Apartments The upside to oak Hollow is that it's in a great location, close to shopping centers, restaurants, and the mall which is nice. I like how it's affordable and allows pets. The staff is really helpful here. The downside is things tend to break, and often. For example the sliding doors constantly fall off the tracks, the shower faucet is leaky, the garbage disposal has broken twice, and the shelves on the fridge door frequently fall off. OAK HOLLOW JUST SIGNED MY LEASE FOR MY 3RD YEAR. I LOVE THE AREA WITH SO MANY TREES IT SEEMS LIKE IM IN THE COUNTRY EVEN THOUGH RIGHT IN TOWN. SEVERAL SHOPPING AREAS CLOSE AND MY FIRST YEAR ACTUALLY SAW FAMILY OF DEER IN TREES OUTSIDE MY LIVINGROOM WINDOW. THE STAFF IS ALSO AWESOME
Good Value Chose apartment based on price for the square footage. Interiors are a little dated but very spacious. Fireplaces are a nice perk. Had both good and bad experiences with management. Some, not all, of the staff act a bit conceded and feel bothered with resident questions and concerns. Pool and tennis courts are not kept up. Mostly came down to price for me. Overall, experience has been average.
