I ordered windows from WW in February and was told 14-16 weeks for install due to COVID and backlogs. I completely understand that as this is something everyone everywhere is dealing with. I paid my deposit for the windows and did not hear from anyone in over 16 weeks. No one called to schedule a time to install the windows. I tried multiples times to get in touch with them. Our experience with Window World has been unacceptable. We ordered doors from them in April. After the 12 week delivery date we were informed that the installation date would need to be scheduled 45 days out even though they had our door sitting in their warehouse. Less than 24 hours before our installation date a representative from their company named Jordan ***** called us to inform that their installation team would be in another state and we would need to reschedule our installation date for another 3 weeks. Worst company I have ever dealt with! Two no shows, finally came and representative had measured and quoted wrong price. Had to come up with more money only to have them no show again. How do you stay in business and there is no way you have an A+ rating with all the bad reviews. Will never recommend this company to any one. Been going on for 6 months, ridiculous. Still no windows!
Signed the contract in August for windows, siding, and gutters. Promised November, maybe December at the latest. Zero communication from Window World as we blew through the promised dates. I signed a contract Jan 2021 was told 12weeks installation that was cool I agreed. April came I'm having to contact company on several occasions to see what's going on with my installation (siding) getting the run around a lot of will call you back no calls. Finally in may I get a schedule date of June 1st received call three before installation to say reschedule date and was told production manager will call no call. This Company deserves no star rating. They are horrible. I have been waiting on windows since October 2020. We are now into June, 2021. Have scheduled many installations and no one will show up and not even call. I keep getting told someone will call and they never do. I want to cancel and get a refund and they keep saying you can't break the contract. Two entry doors, side windows, transom window and storm doors ordered on 1/15/21. Salesperson (Chuck Jones) told us 6-8 weeks. At the 7 week mark I called to ask about status. Person who answered the phone laughed and said no way the order would be ready in 8 weeks. Was told 16 weeks. They never ever return a call. Never show up on time. I ordered 6 windows. 2 of them were wrong. After not hearing from them regarding rescheduling I spent an hour on the phone just trying to find out what's going on. My call alerted them to the need to remeasure my windows....seems weird that it would take a call from me. It was going to 3 weeks before they could get someone out to measure.....3 WEEKS!!! I ordered 5 windows in July of 2020. When I ordered the windows I paid 50% of the invoice. Window world has canceled 12 appointments for installation since that time. It's now May 2021 and I'm still trying to get the windows delivered or my money returned. This has to be the most irresponsible company I have ever dealt with. I can't imagine an A rating is deserved. STAY AWAY!
