This company has over and over disappointed my whole customer service experience. I ordered a table and chair for my children and received it at my billing address instead of my shipping address. They refuse to reroute the order. I was on the phone with them for 2 days with hours of phone time and unprofessional associates who never let me talk to a supervisor. I had an issue with a local store manager giving me incorrect information and as a result, created a deceptive business transaction. The store is located in Princeton, NJ. After discovering the issue, I called the corporate location to speak to the executive consumer office. Left multiple messages because all the receptionists would not answer my question as to how long it takes to get a call back so no ownership there. I also called regular customer service twice. I placed the order and realized that I did not apply the promotion # to the order. Called the customer service immidiately and they said they cannot apply the promotion nor they can calncell the order. For the same order #, the website said that the item was elligible for a promotion: if the order is placed before 12/9, the item will be delivered on Dec 24th. I placed the order on 12/3. A fiasco from start to finish dealing with this company. A chair arrived broken (i.e. with the wood splintered in half down the middle.) . They've told me three different dates the replacement will be arriving but all have come and gone Now, almost four months later with one member of family standing through every meal, I've given up. Stock analysts take note: Williams Sonoma has a fulfillment and customer service issue and at least one formally loyal customer is heading to *******.

If I could leave ZERO stars it would be too many. These people are completely fraudulent. Their business practices are outdated and they refuse to help when something goes wrong. I ordered a kitchen set for my daughter from PBK online and paid with a discover card. They first charged my card the entire amount of the purchase. Then a second slightly less amount was charged. I only had one transaction! I called and they said it's their process and the hold for the larger amount will fall off within 3-5days. I was not informed ... read more

I will never shop with Pottery Barn again... I purchased an accent table online, that was the first problem. (It was free shipping) I returned in the Huntington New York store, they were the rudest and snobby women that my daughter and I have ever encountered in a retail store. They gave me a receipt for the return but it was less the amount I had paid for it. I told them and they said it was already done and I have to call customer service. In August, I placed an order for my dining and living spaces. When the gray chairs were delivered via UPS, one was defective; it had to be replaced. When the media console, the coffee table, and the dining table were delivered via home delivery, each was defective, each had to be replaced. When the replacement coffee table base came via UPS, I had to assemble it myself. When the replacement console was delivered it was assembled incorrectly. Zero Starts. Ordered a bunk bed for my daughter about two months ago. I have had multiple delivery appointments in which they delivery team was not prepared or did not have the proper items. Only half the bed has been delivered. They forgot the ladder and part of the bookshelf and hardware. Either the delivery driver or the customer service rep lied to me- because their information conflicted themselves and did not match up.
