If ZERO was an option, this is the score I would give them. This company is just BAD: they get you to sign up for a credit card with lures of free merchandise. The you call the credit card company (comity bank) and the bank doesn't know your balance or your purchases. You order a custom build and guess what? They don't know when you will get it! I'm so disappointed with Pottery Barn. I purchased two full size beds in November of 2018 for my daughters. I spent over $2,000 for the beds, and 13 months later mu one daughters bed broke. They said since its been over a year they can't replace it for free, and it will cost me $500 for a rail. The vendor will not replace it without payment up front. My daughter is 10 years old and it's a full size bed. If a $1,000 bed wont last for a ten year old, and will break in 13 months, I would've been better off going to Ikea and pur... read more
I have to say that I am very surprised by the negative reviews. I have ordered from Pottery Barn Kids quite a few times now, from a loft bed, to backpacks and Christmas stockings. The couple of times I have needed help with something that I purchased or was attempting to purchase, the support staff has been awesome! They were helpful and stood behind their products. I will continue to be a loyal customer.
Negative Stars. An order that I placed well before Christmas 2019 was never delivered. Multiple phone calls to track item. Multiple broken promises the item would ship, I would be contacted directly, etc. Then multiple phone calls to cancel the item when the item never delivered. I purchase a gift from a bridal registry for a small fry on from William-Sonoma The pan was sent in a nondescript box four times the size of the item - not in any original product box with no original paperwork. In addition the box was half opened. The pan was clearly someone’s else’s “sloppy second” return item as it was scratched and defective. Absolutely awful, deceiving advertising practices with rude customer service that make solving problems futile and even more frustrating. Knox street pottery barn is the WORST. So rude and demeaning towards customers.
I’ve placed 2 order through Mark and Graham, both times they have just cancelled the order without any notification, I just happen to find out online the order is cancelled when checking status online. Their customer service is was extremely rude and unapologetic about it and was never able to provide a response as to why. Absolutely unprofessional. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.
I also would have left a zero if I could! TERRIBLE customer service and they have been holding refund money of mine since 1-9. Received a blanket - which was more like rope for Christmas. I ordered a Willie Bird Turkey through Williams Sonoma sometime in October for my Thanksgiving celebration with 12 guests. Tuesday before I checked status and it said not shipped. I spent 40 minutes on the phone and while I had an opportunity to by a cheap turkey that night in our small town grocery store, I was convinced I had not a worry in the world, was even sent an email by a supervisor promising that I would be receiving my turkey no later than 3 PM on Wednesday.
