I placed an order with West Elm. It shipped out UPS and then was transferred to the post office. After approximately a week and a half of being told that I would receive the package the next day, I contacted customer service. Ordered nursery furniture because the web site said it would be delivered in Couple weeks. Spent almost $4,000. After I paid and they took my money they then emailed me telling me a totally different date a month later than the original. Now, Its 3 months later and the order still isnt complete. Made 3 large furniture purchases totaling over $10,000 in May and July. Multiple shipping delays due to the fact that their third party contractor was holding two items for over 2 months to try to group delivery! Finally get two of the furniture pieces scheduled for delivery (with one month wait time) just to have them arrive with 1 incomplete sectional!! The customer service is the worst that I've ever experienced! They don't do anything about their damaged product, please don't buy their product.
Day 42- couch was ordered in June 2020. Delivery was promised August 15- two delays later and delivery is set for September 5 when they show up with 2 pieces of a 3-piece sectional. We send it back because we don’t want to be left with an incomplete couch and have since talked to at least 10 customer service reps- none of whom know what is going on. How is this company still in business? I have been dealing with a couch order for over a year now! It started with a late delivery of over 2 months. When it arrived, it was damaged. Wish I read these reviews prior to ordering my daughters furniture set. I ordered in July and over two months later still do not even have a ship date. **************** gives me a different estimated date everytime I speak with them and they continue to push the ship date out further and further. Now its estimated to arrive in November - from a July order date! I wish I ordered from one of their competitors and I will in the future. Dont make the same mistake I did - dont order from this company.
I have been emailing with customer service for 6 months about a simple refund that is due to me after I returned the items to the store. I am without the items and the money because the store receipt promised me a refund check in the mail.
