I called to pay off and close my store card a few months ago.. they took my payment, closed the account , and apparently continued to charge me for late payments on a 0 balance on a closed account ...after the date of closure:/ I don't get it. I called to say what's up? was told that I paid off my card late! WHAT? Ordered a chair from West Elm in early August, with an original expected delivery date in early October. That delivery timeframe came around and I got an email that my delivery was delayed. Then a week or so later, my card was charged and my order was marked as shipped, with a 2-week late-October window. I was excited at first but oh man, if I only knew... On November 17 I ordered $240 pair of of plates and bowls as an Xmas gift. I received a receipt via email stating the expected delivery was December 1. On December 11, I realized that the item has not arrived and go back to the original receipt for tracking info. It takes me to a page that let's me know it will not arrive until January 10. No email was sent to me to let me know this. Hmmmm. I have placed a order October 31st, my order was delayed and changed shipping to December 11th. I talked to customer service twice and manager regarding this issue and they guaranteed that I will receive my shipment by December 11th. I still have not received a email, call or my order. I ordered a cutting board weeks ahead of Christmas and paid extra for the personalization. I received the package without the initials and contacted customer service who instructed me to print out a return label and return it to a UPS store. Annoying, but was totally okay with taking the extra steps since this was a very expensive and sought after gift. I received the cutting board again, this time no packing slip and NO personalization. I placed an order for a 4 piece modular console on Sept 3rd. Due to COVID I was told delivery would be longer than normal so it would not be available until the week of DEC 8th. I tracked my order weekly, so that I would be aware of status changes (of which there were none), until DEC 3rd when the status changed to delivery Jan 15, 2021. My 12 week delivery has now increased more than 50% to an 18 week delivery!!! When I contacted customer service I was told that 2 of the 4 modules were not ready. I have a set of items from West Elm. It was an expensive purchase! I would have expected better quality and craftsmanship. Just over a year after purchasing I realized the drawer on our desk was cracking and falling off. It is a drawer that we have opened maybe 10 times. I have had the most nightmarish encounter with ordering on Pottery Barn Teen. My first order was noted as delivered on the website, but I never received the package. I had to call the customer service line and reach out to the package carrier in order to verify that the order was actually NOT delivered. Luckily the 1st rep was able to resend my order. I placed an order on September 28th, 2020 with West Elm. At that time the website said in stock and ready to ship. I received an email confirmation with a ship date of November 19th. I received a shipment update on October 10th that item was ready to ship. Each day there was no update on the item that had been labeled but not yet shipped. I contacted West Elm after November 11th to find out that the shipment date was updated to December 10th (date to be received).
