I place on order on June 16th 2023 for some very expensive knives...they hadn't shown up yet, so on June 26th I checked the status online, and it showed the order as cancelled. I called to see why, and they said their billing department left a note on the order stating they had contacted me and were waiting on a response, if they hadn't received a response by June 20th they would cancel the order. I had purchased a *** Western Full Sheet Set for $120 back In December 2022. It hasnt been a full year yet and its already coming apart from washing and drying it. I got in touch with them online about returning my sheet set and they told me that their return policy is 30 days. For a pricey purchase like that a 30 day warranty is no good. They tried to offer me 10% off on my next purchase but thats just a basic discount. Ill never shop with them again. Stay away from Pottery Barn because they dont appreciate their customers.
Pottery Barn has dropped the ball on their end MULTIPLE, MULTIPLE times. NOT ONCE has a rep tried to compensate for my HORRIBLE and shocking customer service with PB. I was never able to speak to a manager or supervisor.That has led me to this last attempt to reach out to PB directly in hopes that there will be some type of accountability. I have been very unsatisfied with the customer service and online shipping situation.I ordered a set of curtains on May 22nd. When my order was delivered on May 27th, only ONE curtain panel came in, not the SET as ordered.I called customer service immediately on May 27th for a replacement, and shipped and returned the original order back out through ***.The replacement order was originally scheduled to be delivered **** 2-6. For such a company that specializing in selling high dollar items the order VS delivery process is awful! This company has canceled/ lost 4 orders of mine and they simply do not care! As of now Im deciding to take my business elsewhere, which is a need not a want because Ive loved furnishing my home with this companys products for years! I ordered several large furniture pieces for our newly renovated house. In total our order was close to $25,000. We have had nothing but problems with Pottery Barn. We received several notifications that items were ready to be delivered and then we would call to schedule and the items would not be at the warehouse. I purchased a duvet cover with shams on June 8. Due to an error on their part, they re-processed my order that was supposed to be delivered by June 13. Because of the re-processing, its now being delivered the end of July. I called to speak with a supervisor twice, and was told they were none available. Ordered a Father's *** gift two weeks in advance to make sure it would be there in time. Ten days after ordering, it still had not shipped. Called 'customer service' and was told that the item would likely NOT be there before Father's *** as it is a 'vendor' item. I asked them to cancel the order. Ordered a custom sofa in March with anticipation of delivery for the end of May. The delivery dates continue to be moved back. Finally scheduled delivery 10 days ago to receive a call that one of the pieces is missing and they need to delay delivery, but would do a partial delivery. It is now the middle of June. Avoid working with Pottery Barn! I have been faced with horrendous customer service, complete apathy, disrespect, and they are a carelessness and disorganized company.
