Absolutely terrible experience with Pottery Barn. Waited months on a bed that was in-stock, only to have it show up with white glove delivery and be the completely wrong bed. Called customer service + they said they will re-issue another one, but that they arent able to rush anything that I will have to wait again (as if it was a newly purchased item), and didnt offer any compensation, along with terrible customer service. Dont order anything from Pottery Barn unless you want a real headache. Ordered a table in September, 2022, finally got a piece of junk in January, 2023, and waited until February for them to pick it up, and Feb. 10, still waiting on a refund. They have one excuse after another. They have hade my money for almost 6 months. Imagine the profits they make off peoples money. Stay away!

My experience with Pottery Barn has been terrible. My main complaint: Pottery Barn sells items that they do not have stock of and will be endless list of delays, and Pottery Barn stole our money.Here is my story: I ordered my daughter new bedding from Pottery Barn teen for Christmas. I made my order in October to be sure there would not be any problems getting the item in time for Christmas. Online is stated that the item would arrive in November. Ordered fabric headboard and frame May 24, 2022 from Pottery Barn. A total of 5 cancellations and 7 months later the delivery guy put fingerprints on fabric. So much for the white glove delivery.... gloves were on the floor. I had to upload pics of the fingerprints even though the delivery ******** it and took pics too, then waited 2 more weeks for cleaning guy to come out. **************** was always nice trying to make up for last promise made. Ordered a $4000 desk from Pottery Barn back in September. It is now February and the delivery driver white glove delivery arrived today.... with only 4 out of 8 pieces. On the website it said in red "IN STOCK SHIPS TODAY". After reading the countless reviews of people with the same issue, how is this company still in business? Is BBB the new ******** for people to come and vent or will they take action against this 8 Billion ************** s******* everybody over? My wife ordered a rug from Pottery Barn in early January. We were confused when a regular sized box arrived. Instead of shipping the rug, we were sent a lamp. My wife immediately called customer service and they asked us to send the lamp back. We were told that they would not send the rug until the lamp arrived, but confirmed that we would receive the rug. I hate to complain and don't usually give reviews, that said, I do want to share my experience and the warning: DO NOT use Pottery Barn. I spent 5 figures furnishing a house with this company. I placed the order in July and have a bill that lists EACH piece as "In Stock and Ready to Ship" with dates ranging from the earliest of August 6th to at the very latest December 3rd 2022. First of all, West Elm doesn't deserve any star. Secondly, I am here to report my dismay, yet only to find many more similar miseries, to the point where I must laugh out loud. "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." West Elm has the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with in my life!!! You get different stories from different people all within the same day! They dont know whats going on with your delivery even though you give them order numbers etc. did not get my furniture for 5 months when they told me I would get it in a month. I had nothing to sit on in my living room after I moved into a new apartment.
