Would give this place zero stars if I could. Absolute worst customer service I have ever received. After over a month of waiting for a store credit and 4 separate interactions with customer service I have accepted that I will never receive my $113 store credit. What a shame. One star is being too nice. This has been the worst experience ordering a couch from this company. The window for delivery that was given to us the day we purchased the item has now passed. Not by one week, or two, or three, but now we are going on week four- with no delivery in sight. This was my first experience with West Elm and I have to say that I'm not pleased at all. I've had the type of issue that others would like to have. 11/25/18 I made a $5,700 purchase. I placed an order via Pottery Barn Kids, for a dollhouse jewelry box. My order was cancelled with no notice, and they stated the price was wrong and would not sell me the item (even though the money had already been taken out of my account). The phone representatives were rude, and awful. I did not expect this from a company such as this, they are too high profile to have such awful people handling these situations, and refusing to work with their consumers. I purchased a gift on their website yesterday because the website said open a credit card today and get 20% off today on your purchase. I filled in all the info and hit submit to apply for the card and I got an email telling me it would take 2 weeks to process the application. So, the open and use today and get 20% off is a scam. We used to call that false advertising and it sure is! Why can Williams Sonoma get away with that? ******* *
The company is selling items final sale when they know they don't even have them in stock! Bought a cradle a month ago after purchased showed on back order originally read ships November 20th. Now they are saying next year and wont refund money a baby only uses a cradle the first 4 months of life being due at Christmas I know have a almost $300.00 cradle I wont even be able to use. Very disgusted!
I wish I could give ZERO stars. DON'T EVER HAVE FURNITURE DELIVERED FROM THIS COMPANY!! I had a delivery to my new home in September 2018 and the delivery men scratched the hardwood floors in my BRAND new home. It is now December 2018 and I haven't gotten anywhere with this company! I've made countless phone call, sent dozens of emails, sent pictures, estimates. You name it, I've done it. The ONLY time I've been able to get any kind of correspondence is when I posted something on social media. WHAT A JOKE!!
I ordered $8500 furniture in August, it’s December I received about $5500 worth. I’ve called, emailed and no response or the rest of my order. So sad really, we’re a family of 7 and received 3 kitchen chairs.
I ordered some items via catalog, and only got a partial shipment, with an explanation on the invoice that the rest would ship at a later date. When it did not arrive, I wrote to WS several times before I got an unsatisfactory reply. They stated they had run out of that item. Then after the end of the month, they show on their website that the same item I wanted was now on sale.
