On January 14, 2019, one week after receiving new chairs from pottery Barn, a cushion was damaged. I called customer service and was told I would receive a response within 48 hours. I called back after not receiving a response and was told that my request was not submitted properly. I was given a Quality control Team number and asked to email pictures. Aweful customer service and rude manager. I just spent $180 on a comforter and from there I washed it (we do not use bleach). I used the comforter that night and and woke up the next day to see a body sized stain on both sides of the comforter. I have never had any issues with this in my 30+ years of utilizing comforters and was rightfully irritated. I ordered a couch on September 3rd, online. The potential delivery week was the week of Thanksgiving, which was great because I had family coming into town. The week of Thanksgiving came and went and I checked the tracking on the website and the date had been pushed to The second week of December. If I could give negative stars I would. We ordered back in August the benchwright double console vanity. We went to install it the 1st of Demember. The top was bowed and cracked. Backsplash was cracked into 2 peices. Called to get a replacement top 6 times our order was cancelled for the replacement no call or email letting us know it was cancelled (mind you our plumber showed up each time for the install waisted money). Pottery Barn, whose parent company is Williams Sonoma, Inc., sent an email saying 20% off EVERYTHING (in caps and bold). Only later when you start shopping do you find the "exclusions apply" statement. Everything means everything. I feel this heading is intentionally misleading and a false claim by Pottery Barn. I would give a no star rating but I could not post this without giving one star.
Made several large purchases +6k for a new home. Received several items like a mirror, rug and drape rod that were obviously open box and returned from customers although PB were selling for new. In addition, I purchased three drapes and a rug for the home which were returned to the store and the saleswoman told me since its past 30 days all I would be able to receive would be store credit. I am writing this review to warn you of a business that really and truly does not care about the customer or doing the right thing. They will deceive and false advertise in order to make a few dollars. I started shopping with Pottery Barn/Williams Sonoma about two months ago. To date, I've submitted two orders, and there are issues with both. I made contact with Pottery Barn's customer service through facebook messenger one month ago, and have messaged them several times since then. I wanted to purchase Vitamix juicer from William Sonoma. They have the option to purchase a refurbished product and a new one, the first one which is at a discounted price. I only considered buying a new one and I purchased one at a hefty price of $599.00. When I unpacked the Vitamix juicer it was obvious that the product was refurbished. The lid had multiple scratches and the seal was bent inwards so that when I proceeded to clean the juicer as instructed in the manual the soapy water gushed all over the place.
