I've never had an issue with the VA. They get me in when I need to be seen. I get my meds on time in the mail. Staff have always been courteous and kind. I have never had to stay the night and have never been admitted there so I can't speak to that. I appreciate that they are there.
Orthopedic staff is excellent. Nursing staff is great.
This is a great facility for Veteran's and very accommodating, thanks for taking good care of our Veterans�
i feel really comfortable everytime i walk in here. i can spend a whole day in here like its home.. nurses,doctors,and workers are super, super nice!!!!!!
I am not a vet , but my wife is !!!! She has went there for routine tests !!!! All the staff there is amazing from the time we came in to the staff in the offices... They are extremely helpful .... Thanks Va Medical Center for taking such great care of my wife ... Terry W
Love the service all the staff is so friendly and helpful and go the extra mile.I am a recent transfer from Jersey and the Wilksbarre VA is heads and Shoulders above in service and quality of care.
The whole person was not treated just the hip injury. My father ate nothing for all 4 days that i witnessed. He had lost more tha 70 lbs in the the last two years and was never referred to a nutritionist, or given an appetite stimulant, he was never prescribed an antipsychotic despite having hallucinations despite having a diagnosis of dimentia. Hated it. Couple years ago I was hospitalized there. Before my treatment was fully done I was kicked out because of bed space. The nurse that gave me my last shot and said I can't believe they are doing this to you.
these docs are trained pill pushers. i have high blood pressure, yes. but not once did the doctor give me recommendations on exercise, nutrition, etc. He just wanted to push metoprolol on me which i was like ok whatever until i read the side effects weight gain being one of the causes of high blood pressure with that being a fucking side effect of the medicine and drowsiness, etc. might as well stroke out and die than be tired all the time.
