The adminstration in the emergency are extremely disrespectful! They put their hands in our veterans faces, when wanting to be quiet. They are no consideration for people on the phone, and are very transactional. After the have "serviced" they client, they slam their phones down, as if they could careless about the patients/family members. Your ER admissions staff is a complete disgrace! I cannot believe how they not only treated patients aka VETS, but the way they treated their families and those that called in! I even felt the police office that came in here today around 430pm (bald guy) was a total dick and couldn't believe how he talked to a veteran! Absolutely disgusting! Shameful
You have to be VERY Proactive and often assertive to communicate what you need and want any time you're dealing with the VA, then be prepared to be patient. Every employee there is on their back, and kicking, because of all the bad stories coming out everyday about VA Healthcare abuses. They're all defensive and ready to strike out at you if they perceive some personal slight. Just be friendly and shrug it off. Had a dental appt. As always it went very well. The folks in the dental clinic are always very friendly and professional.
This place has to be the most corrupt va hospital in the country. I can't wait till they drain the swamp.
My fiance is a disabled veteran sale but wonderful treatment he received two weeks prior I had taking new medication went with my fiance to pick up a prescription I passed out in the facility and they took such good care of me I was so worried because I was and the doctor told me rest assure and his priority at that point in time was my health could have not asked for better care
The travel time is oppressive the employees are dedicated just wish that veterans Choice work better so I wouldn't have to travel so far
