Easy to find. Parking spaces weren't too bad. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. My only suggestion would be some type of map to get from one place inside the building to another. Blue elevators only go so far, can't get there from silver elevators. It was confusing for ME, imagine what it must be like for someone with hearing and vision impairment; or someone with cognitive issues. otherwise, its a great place.
I've heard worse stories about other VA. I'm not gun a lie I have never had one problem with this VA maybe a little bumps here and there. I was lucky to get decent docs and was never treated wrongly.
This is my 1st VA I have ever been to and was nervous about the care I would receive. The Wilkes-Barre VA has surpassed every expectation I have had. They truly go above and beyond to help you with all your needs and put the veteran 1st. I like that they have a clinic to treat female veterans. Just want to say thank you for all that you do.
We were out staying in Wilkes Barre. My wife broke her toe and we ended up in the ER Dept.
I was just there had my defib replaced all people were very friendly and professional.
Friendly & efficient staff. Was able to be seen earlier than appointment scheduled. Some miscommunication about one procedure but that was from my clinic not hospital. A great group of folks.
