I have DVT's and my leg swelled up on me. The ER personnel were great. Where else can you get an ultra sound almost immediately. This review is only for the ER and ultra sound staff. Not always happy with other departments in the hospital
I live about 50 miles from the Richmond VA. I drive 280 miles to the WB VA because of the very good care provided by and dedication of the staff at this VA! Their care for veterans they serve is clear and worth the drive!
My hubby won't go any where else. Always a good experience .
We had a good experience once we got inside the hospital, but parking is a nightmare. There's just not enough. A multi-level parking garage would be a wonderful addition to the property.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. I called to make an appointment and the person on the other end was having a conversation with another coworker. I never knew when she was talking to me. After being on the phone for 15 minutes she still couldn't help me and transferred me to another department where they won't answer the phone! She made me feel like I was inconveniencing here!

My husband had a Dr appt. They got him right in. He did have a short wait to see dr. Dr was attentive to him and ordered some test and additional medicine and took him off some medicine.
Was treated well. I took my friend to have SPU surgery for hernia . Audra was amazing on the care and hospitality. Thank you Wilkes Barre Veterans Hospital and staff
