Dr. Haas is a wonderful internist. She is always so helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. Stacie, the nurse, is also absolutely wonderful. I am very grateful to have them take care of my medical needs.
I have just posted about how WestMed charges co-pays for annual visits that are covered by insurance. They feel they can get away with this because I discussed medication with my doctor. This is a foul and deceitful practice and any doctor who engages in this is not adhering to the principle of "first do no harm." It is incredibly harmful to bill for something that is covered. I had decompression surgery on December 1 st. with Dr. Brandoff @ White Plains Hospital.I would highly recommend him. I have no more pain or numbness. He is very personal and professional. He gets an A+.
The quality of WestMed has severely deteriorated. I'm so disappointed with them!!!
So far only their Pediatric Department has not tried medical billing abuse tactics.
