My appointment has been canceled because your billing department is not willing to work with me! Are you serious!!! The level of torture your billing department has put me through is unacceptable, purely evil and in humane. And now I can’t make my pre surgery appointment because Westmed would rather send bills into collections instead of work with patient. No I am will not be recommending this group!!
It’s disappointing how two different employees give you a price for a visit but because the doctor decides that the visit was “complicated” they charge you more for the visit. Honestly as a former employee I’m very disappointed in this. If the provider would have spent more than 15 min in the room with me then I would justify it.
Good morning. I would recommend only a few doctors that are the best there. i been a patient for over 20 years now. Dr. Todd Friend is the PCP. Dr. wurm is Lung Specialist, Dr. Landis is a great rheumatologist, Valencia is a good pain management doctor. Dr. kim Carter outside urgent care physician. I wish the call cent was still in new York. and be able to have the doctor and patient feel. I miss that. I been a p er 20years now. things changed
I went to the Stamford location, the Doctor was very nice but their billing department is a nightmare. I have been trying to straighten out a bill and they are nearly impossible to get a hold of, then they tell you they will handle it and NOTHING gets done. I will not be returning to this practice to the incompetence of their billing.
From the very start, Keri Glick, made sure that I was going to be taken care of. I needed a new hip and she made the process much easier than if I had tried to do it myself. My doctor, Dr. Schmidt, was an amazing surgeon and I am grateful to WestMed for providing me with two incredibly dedicated employees.
Difficult to make appointments and then requesting Medical Records is a huge frustration and extremely expensive!! $67.00 for medical records for continuity of care. Asked that they be prepared for me instead of going directly to the physician. More then 2 weeks prior, never received a phone call to say that they were ready. I called to follow up, they told me price which I agree to pay and then I have to wait for them to be prepared and they'll only be prepared after I make payment!! Too hard to make appts! The App is clumsy and cumbersome, and the Call Center is worse. If you’re in pain or discomfort, they’ll still offer you an appointment five days out. Not good enough, and inhumane. I suspect they’re not even very good to their employees; feels like they’re too $$$ oriented
