First time I went there it was great. This time they had several staff members who were rude including a pretentious doctor who acted like he could play God. Beware of the 5th floor! Never again! I thank God for the 3 out of 9 who made my stay pleasant.
I came to the ER and my only complaint was a long wait. However, after being informed the hospital was full, I let that slide. Once in the back, I was treated by a nurse I knew from Wellstar Cobb...one I trusted. It turned out I had a large abcess under a surgical incision from a procedure done at Kennestone a week and a half prior. I'm still an inpatient, now on the medical floor after 24 hours in ICU. I am so mad at this hospital. My wife went there with the complaint of pain. She is diabetic, she had a fever and really bad headache, with nausea and vomiting. Her blood sugar was 325. Unable to eat. They give her Zofran and Toradol. They took her blood and did a urinalysis. They say see your doctor. Lucky!!!. I followed my gut and took her in the morning to her doctor. Just received a bill for services that were not rendered at the ER. After an hour and a half I left but still received a $567 bill. This is the minimum ER charge for non services. Please explain.
Go to the ER get told they wanna admit my fiance just for a couple hours due to kidney infection and pain. Been here almost 12 hours all of a sudden they have no clue what's going on with her and now say she needs to be kept over night because the lady in the ER doesn't know what she is talking about those were the exact words out of the dr's mouth and now we are gonna be charged more by some dumb idiot who won't even listen to us when my fiance says she is feeling completely fine
