The Wait In The ER Was Way Too Long, 2 Hrs Is Unacceptable, And The Housekeeping Lady Just Came In The Room Without Knocking And Waiting For A Answer, I Was Sleep And She Kept On As If It Was Twelve O Clock In The Day, Bumping Around Loud And Just No Regards To Patient Acknowledgement. Other Than That The Staff Is Excellent !!!
When visiting the ER, it seems the staff would rather discuss where they are going on vacation, what side dish is best with dinner, or discuss random crap rather than check on patients regularly. If you have a broken bone, they will get you casted and sent on your way. If you have ANYTHING else, drive to Cartersville Med or Northside Cherokee- at least they know when something is serious �
Had the BEST EVER experience at Wellstar Paulding Hospital under the circumstances. My mother suffered a minor stroke and we arrived at the ER within 30 minutes of the first symptoms. From the receptionist at the ER to the nurses and doctors everyone was very caring, friendly and efficient. We felt that we were in the best of hands and the facility is brand new, clean and has all of the "state of the art" equipment.
So blessed to have this facility in our area. The staff in all areas is just outstanding. A special thanks goes to the wonderful Oncology Radiation staff. You're caring kindness is just so special. Thanks for everything.
