The kings of slum lords, the worst rental mgmt company ever is still around, still ripping people off and treating them like garbage in 2022!!! Dealing with these pricks a was an awful experience. They tell you to be sure to give them a call with any issues, but then when you do, they say maintenance will be booked up for a while and won't have time to get to it for a few days, or they refuse to help and say that you the Tennant must figure it out because it "doesn't fall under them." The 5-star reviews from "William" are Bill Welch, who is or was the owner or manager of WCW, leaving his own company "good reviews." Also notice the reviews from all those personally thanking Bill by name, they all say nearly the exact same thing. Those are personal friends of Bill "William" Welch and employees of WCW. Best in the business. As an owner living in Denver, I never worry about anything at my rental in Topeka. Resourceful, effective, friendly- they keep the property in great condition and occupied by well screened, excellent tenants.
Still a terrible company, still having personal friends leave 5 star reviews for damage control, and still wouldnt do business with these idiots if they were the only rental company left in the world. Believe me when I say, they suck.
We moved to the Topeka area from Denver, CO and the staff at WCW was AMAZING! We had a very short timeline to run with, and WCW’s team made sure to help accommodate us so we could get moved in time for me to start my new job. Big shout out to Tim and Jennifer, they made it all possible. If you’re looking to rent and want a good company that will treat you right, talk to WCW.
I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about WCW. I have been leasing with them about 7 years I believe. Bill and the office staff have always been friendly and understanding. In the event there have been needed repairs, which does not happen often, they respond in a timely fashion and the work is also done quickly, with reputable workers. I have had the pleasure of knowing Bill Welch for about 10 years. I have known him to be professional, kind and have a great presence of mind in any situation! His property manager Tim, is professional, thorough and has a great attention to detail. Jennifer in the back office dealing with the application process was a great resource and friendly. She was able to process my application in an expected time frame.
