From the receptionists to the technicians to the staff, everyone was accommodating, polite, and set me at ease... and I hadn't been to the dentist in over 5 years!
Your appointment reminder system is very aggressive. I got an email, text and a phone call to confirm my appointment a week out. (I confirmed immediately by text.) Then I got a phone call to "re-confirm" a couple days out, plus more electronic reminders. Too much. Once the appointment has been confirmed, there shouldn't be any more phone contact.
Dr. Ebbs made sure I was comfortable and provided an excellent cleaning. His assistant D'Angelo was friendly and reassuring. I already referred my boyfriend to the practice. Hopefully he'll go :)
Dr. Ebbs is personable and makes you feel comfortable during your visit. I also appreciate that he was not trying to get me to get unnecessary work done. I would definitely go back to see him.
It would be helpful if one could schedule appointments on-line or via e-mail. It's a stumbling block for me, but also for others. Making an appointment should be the easy part.
DeAngelo, Jamie, and Dr. Ebbs greeted me with enthusiasm and friendliness. The waiting room is pleasant and full of interesting things to read and look at. The staff in the Studio office are wonderful. Dr. Ebbs is great and I highly recommend him and the Washington Dental Studio.
I had come in to retrieve my records. I filled out the form and gave it to the receptionist, who accepted it. I never did receive the records so I had to go back into the office to pay and wait for the email which had my x-rays. I replied to the email asking for the rest of my records and have not heard back. Still awaiting a response. Slow response to administrative requests, but I liked the team when I had an appt in 2012!
Dr. Ebbs is the best. He cleaned my teeth efficiently and kept up enjoyable conversation throughout the visit. I enjoy coming to the Washington Dental Studio to get my teeth cleaned and I recommend them to everyone looking for a great option close in the Farragut area downtown.
None of the reception staff greeted, acknowledged or said much more to me than making the request that I complete certain forms. Both my dental tech and the dentist were very friendly and explained every step of the process. However, I left disappointed because my teeth do not feel or look clean. Admittedly, due to recent removal of braces, I was overdue for a formal cleaning, but to the extent a regular cleaning would not be sufficient, I would have expected the dentist to do a deep cleaning and completely remove the buildu... read more
