Worst VA I’ve ever been to.... This place has absolutely NO organization. And they don’t care about anyone but older vets. I’ve had to go to the ER and Patient Advocates to get ANYTHING done! I get major anxiety just walking into this sh-hole! If you have a way to avoid this place DO IT! They truly don’t give a S about us here! Seriously! NO ORGANIZATION!!! I have tried numerous times to get a medical hardship, or at least some medical care, and all is I get is "REJECTED". I have sent a ton of paperwork to verify my income and the JERK that is the eligibilty supervisor treats me like I'm a total idiot!!!! I thought it was his job to HELP me get care, but obviously all he's concerned with are his migraine headaches. Total waste of my time, and it sucks, because I served my country and am now in need of help.
I have been waiting for pain management for over 3 weeks since my transfer from Dayton Ohio this is pathetic I meant my breaking point and the Albuquerque VA is just sitting on their hands trying to stick their thumb up their butt.
currently at a 3.5 hour wait in the ER. this is after a staff member the night before told him to come back the next day when you have more doctors... pathetic institution for service men and women
they have fired all of their doctors except for their surgeons your PCP used to Stanford primary care physician now stands for practitioner the VA has fired all their doctors and replace them with nurses.if you want good health care you cannot get it at the Albuquerque VA I have my house on the market I am moving to Texas. As a Vet,I highly recommend the VA Health Care System. I had my Bleed in 2015(mini stroke),after treatment at UNMH and Rehab with HealthSouth,the VA was always there.The Drs and there staff was always helpful and my appointments were done timely,No Complaints!!!!!
