Denied DOM care, because I wouldn't tell them I wanted to harm myself or others. Another family destroyed by the VA's lack of care. They fight u every step if you try to get help in ABQ! If any Vet needs help, stay away from NM VA, they will hand you the pistol, with a round chambered, and the safety off!

The VA does not care about anyone. The VA believes that if a veteran is suicidal they should kill themselves.
My dad just waited 5 hrs to be seen. They didn't seem concerned about him at all. Don't go here, find somewhere they actually care what happens to people.
They should revisit their policy allowing children into patients room when there is more than one patient in the room. it would be better if families would meet with the patient in another room. I was very uncomfortable with kids in the same room I was in!
Horrid experience! Treated like a druggie...very bad uncaring-nurses and doctors had absolutely no bed side manor...

va health system doesnt care about our veterans. my husband needs an appointment he gets it 6 months in the future even though he needs it now.
I brought my mother Friday May 24th to the VA ER and their care and compassion for her condition was outstanding. It had continued to the 3rd floor wing A. The doctors and nurses have been working diligently to address her condition and have my upmost confidence. I can’t say enough and Thank them enough for all they are doing.
