RecommendedAll of the staff at the downtown Milwaukee are fantastic. I donate platelets every couple of weeks. Not why they put up with me but they do. I'm always welcomed warmly (even at 6am) and am treated so well. Hanna, Joy, Chandra(sp), Tatiana and so many who's names have escaped me are top notch.
Although I made a donation for tragedy (Hurricane Harvey), the Blood Center staff made experience pleasant. I especially appreciated the great customer I received from Dave J! Thank you!

This was my first time back to the downtown location after moving up north several years ago. I had the last appointment on a Saturday afternoon for platelets. The place was hopping,too. There had been an appeal for donors as supplies were low and it was obvious that folks were ready to roll up their sleeves to help. Even though I didn't recognize too many faces from back in the day, the staff was friendly and efficient as always. You could tell that they were "drained" though.
