I was reminded via email to give blood and decided to go to the donation location on Fuller- unfortunately it is experiences like this that make me hesitant to return- the needle was shoved around in my arm trying to find a vain for several minutes- it was painful the entire time I was donating. Afterwards in the waiting area I commented that I was in pain and had never had this painful of an experience before- the girl who was overseeing the donation just shrugged and said we can get you an ice pack. RecommendedShamone and Athena were incredibly kind and patient. My adult daughter with disabilities desperately wanted to donate, but was having trouble. They told her that if it didn’t work one day, she could kiss come back and try again another day. It took us three tries, but she finally did it! Shamone was AWESOME. She did not get irritated or impatient. She was the picture of helpfulness and professionalism. Thank you!
