RecommendedI have given platelets twice at Heartland Blood Center in Naperville in memory of my late brother- Chris Peters. He was a monthly platelet donor until his unexpected death in February of this year. As I come in to honor my brother- while shedding a tear or two- I’ve found the staff to be friendly and attentive which makes the procedure easier. RecommendedIt’s 85 minutes long to give platelets. They should tell you that when you sign up and use the bathroom before you start. 🥴
