My wife and I both made an appointment at the Edgerton location. Received emails and texts reminding me of my appointment. I also received 2 calls within an hour of each other from BCW telling me how much they needed my donation because they evidently completely ignored the fact that I had made an appointment. Showed up early. At 15 minutes past my appointment time, my wife asked what the status was, at which time we were told they "were a little behind". No estimate of when we'd be seen. I go to the Reed Avenue donation center in Manitowoc. The folks are always friendly (and good "stickers"). I am an early riser so I typically make appointments for 7:00 or 7:30, it's a great way to start the day. I know my donation is helping someone heal, not much is better than that.
Can be a long wait. I finally got in a chair an hour after my appointment time. Thankfully they have free wi-fi.
I donate at the Greenfield BCW. The volunteers are always very cheerful and the staff are always friendly and attentive.
Everyone is great here and very friendly... My first time donating and everyone made me feel very comfortable. Loved Marie and all her great energy!!
