I have a Atlas roof on my house and a lot of wind and hail damage from the stroms that we have had and State Fam wants to only pay to replace 125 shingles. The adjuster told me that all the shingles were lose and they will come of also. The biggest problem is that the roofing that is one there can not be matched with any brand on the market because Atlas is smaller in size than the new roofing today and the color will not match, I need a new roof with all the damage and not a patch job that can be seen from the road
Multiple issues with this company over the past few years and recently. Canceling insurance on all vehicles because issues with fund transfer, no verbal notice. Stuck on highway for 8 hours waiting on tow in normal weather conditions. Wrong dispatch location for tow after multiple calls addressing the issue. Damage to personal property not being covered by auto insurance after crash, was told to submit photos and receipts with claim number, then was told to file claim under my homeowners insurance policy. $500.00 deductible ... read more
I WAS RECENTLY IN AN ACCIDENT NOT AT FAULT, AND STATE FARM SAID THE AT FAULT PARTY DOESN’T HAVE TO PAY A DIME! I WORKED AT STATE FARM SO I KNOW HOW THE CLAIMS PROCESS SHOULD BE, BUT MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN HORRIBLE! THEY TOLD ME I HAVE TO MAKE ALL THE PHONE CALLS! IM ALREADY SHAKEN UP FROM THE ACCIDENT AND THIS MADE ME FEEL WORST! I WILL BE SWITCHING! JUST KNOW THAT IF YOU HAVE A POLICY WITH STATE FARM AND YOU’RE IN AN ACCIDENT YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY EVEN IF THE OTHER PARTY IS AT FAULT!
State farm are crooks. They have no loyalty to their long term customers. What a coincidence. The governor gives us a rebated check, which I have yet to receive. And state farm increases my insurance. no accidents, no tickets nothing!

They screwed me over after they accepted 100% liability when their customer totaled my car. Terrible claims process, terrible customer service, terrible experience all around. Would not compensate me for the actual value of my car. I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not recommend ever working with them in any way
I've had an awful and misleading experience filing a claim with State Farm. The "State Farm Select Service" Autobody shop that I took my vehicle began work on my vehicle before I ever received an estimate and now I am stuck with a $1000 bill to fix a cracked bumper. Had I received this estimate beforehand I would not have agreed to the repairs since the car is still drivable. My teenage daughter was rear ended by a State Farm client. They were promptly responsive at the beginning of the claim. However, once they said what they could do, they left everything in our hands and provided zero support. They claim department appears to by employed by inexperienced adjusters that have zero authority. So it is either take it or leave it without doing significant research and work on your own. Very Poor Customer Service. Accident took place on a Friday 530pm downtown Denver. Had to get the car off the street and had to have it towed to their impound lot. Contacted State Farm Claims dept. and they said they needed it at one of their lots (State Farm). It was moved and it took a couple of days for the estimate. Taken advantage of for over 30 years, 150k in premiums paid, finally speaking out. Homeowners - their policy is to underpay and make you fight for it (lawyer and/or private adjuster) to be made whole. They will take more from policy holders that just pay the rest themselves. Now they do this with auto (no body shop will take them locally) - they purposely pay for cheap parts and incomplete repairs, so shops don't want to do their work.
