RecommendedAbsolutely wonderful team at VCA. I have been there three times with my dog, and always prompt care weather it’s a walk-in or appointment. They’re not just there for the animals they are there for the owners and they’re scared and upset. I think that might be a little bit more expensive but they are literally some of the nicest techs and vets I’ve ever been to. Worth every penny. Good job, VCA!

My dog was severely and critically ill in the middle of the night in june 2019. I rushed her to valley oak animal hospital in chico calif for help. It’s a ridiculous wait unless you have an appointment or your pet is truly an emergency..walked in with a sticker that went up my dogs nose, he had sneezing fits...not a high enough priority to get service...after 2.5 hours I left...receptionists were sweet but that’s really inefficient....
After being misdiagnosed at my dog's own vet 6 months ago, VCA were able to give me answers.
I recommend based solely on the staff. From front desk to vet herself they were all exceedingly kind. But their fees are out of this world. Had to take in my cat to be euthanized. Found him unresponsive and having seizures in the yard. They put us in a room and took the cat to put in catheter. He was brought back to us in the room as we wanted to be present at his passing. The vet came in, checked the catheter and before she administered any medication my boy passed. They charged me $190. A ridiculous amount of money for lit... read more
Amazing staff, so very caring and sweet! They were SO helpful with my runt mini wiener dog! The whole 2 ounces of her!! I owe you all. You’re heaven sent- thank you❤️
They left my poor cat in his crate stuck in some corner without water or a litter box for over 5 hrs.When my husband said to give him back they jumped to start treating him. They was about the new money coming threw the door. My cat just sucked up the water when we got him home. Poor baby. I would not take a cockroach to those inhuman money grubbers
I don't recommend doctor Dornan. I was forced to see him because of a rude woman named Cori would not let me see our regular docor Esh. She is on some kind of power trip. Dr Dornan put my dog on medications that shouldn't be taken together. There where so many mistakes made with my dogs treatment I can't list them all. He caused my soulmate so much suffering because of his incompetence. I had to put my bestfriend to sleep because he collapsed in the rain. I questioned the meds 3 times. He said just do what I said.
