We attempted to get our dog in tonight for an emergency, we were told it would be a eight hour wait. Not sure what effectiveness an emergency vet can have if one has to wait until the following day to be even checked in. That is why we have family veterinarians . Valley Oaks, sorry but you need to up your game. What a joke!

RecommendedI recommend Valley Oaks for their caring staff and amazing Doctors. My pit bulls have always gotten the best care including end of life care recently for my Sierra Girl. The process was very compassionate and loving. They gave me her paw prints and I get to pick up her ashes soon. Thank you Valley Oaks!

I took my dog in 2 weeks ago for an ear infection. $350+ later, The medicine they prescribed her DID NOT WORK! I called in this morning to ask for a different ear medication and they said I need to bring her back!! Why!! They did the tests last time! Same problem! All they care about is the $! They did not help us! Only drained my pocket and my dogs ear us still red and sore☹️. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE!!
They are caring, and very good at what they do. I feel confident that my cat is in good hands when he's with them.
Hey guys, I highly recommend NEVER taking your animal to VCA Valley Oak Veterinary if you can help it. They have NO compassion & have such rude people there! They also have no idea how to communicate. I honestly feel that the visit could have been significantly improved just by communicating what was happening in there, showing compassion and giving an estimated time. Our beloved 8 yr old cat was attacked by a coyote or similar animal. We currently take him to a vet hospital in Redding CA but they are only open until noon on Saturday so we drove to Chico to Valley Oak Veterinary Center. The staff was attentive, friendly, quick and because of Covid we were unable to go in and be with our Cat. That in itself was very traumatic.
