This place is inconsistent. they seem to sneak extra services your dog doesn't need to increase billing. I have a perfect example of this. I have a dog that has broken a toe twice. The first time we dealt with the toe it was 6 weeks in a splint/cast - with x-rays at time of diagnosis and at the end of the 6 week period to make sure it was completely healed. This second time we have been charged an extra 300$ for x-rays at 4 weeks. so now we have had x-rays at week 1, 4, and now 6. Why is it different this time? Inexperience?... read more

In my opinion, the worst possible place to take your pet. Took my Persian cat there because he had a UTI. His vet was closed so I took him to this slaughterhouse. Big mistake. The vet wanted to run a necessary expensive and painful test to make sure it was a UTI. I paid her the $67 fee and took my cat and ran. Took him to an emergency vet and they said his bladder is so small that if VCA use the needle like she wanted it would have killed him. Also, VCA gave me a prescription for opioids that I gave my cat, thinking that it ... read more

Absolutely horrible. The service I received here is disgusting. The vet has Absolutely NO respect for their patients. VCA, the next time someone asks their ride to leave the room because they are scaring the animal tell your vet to mind their own flipping business! The vet told him he could stay, and that "I will be here for you" I'm so disgusted. Maybe you should charge HIM for your services and not me, after all, I'm not on file since you gave everything to him to fill out. However, you did charge MY card. TF VCA?!

The staff was fine but I thought it was very inappropriate how the doctor made me feel hustled! I brought my dog in to ask about her red eye. The doctor did an eye exam and did not inform me of the additional charge until he was finishing up the process. It was also in the form of a statement and not a question. I am the sole provider of three with a menial job that doesn't pay much so I was very frustrated with this extra $100 charge that was basically hustled out of me. Very unprofessional approach for a doctor, I was take... read more

This place has to be the worst place in michigan they honestly don't care about your bet for example I bring my pet their I tell them what he ate they force me to me to pay o e Hu dred dollars to poison control then poison. Control calls them tells them what I just told poison control. Then they real quick charge me $400 just look at my pet and tell me exactly what I just told them then they tell me it's $1400 for blood work so I gave them $400 for absolutely nothing. They sent me home with my pet in worse condition the woul... read more

My cat appeared critically ill over a week ago. I couldn't get an appointment right away at my regular veterinary practice. So I took her to VCA Shoreline because they could take her in immediately. I expected that emergency services would cost more. I also expected to have to put down a deposit. Emergency services tend to be very expensive and I'm sure a lot of people skip out on the bill. So I was willing to accept all this going in. After only a cursory exam of my pet, the doctor gave me three possibilities of how thing... read more

Agreed to Spay two 5 month old large breed puppy’s while I know the family plays a role I would be cautious of a vet that consents to this when it’s shown to be unhealthy.

I've been taking my dog to VCA Falcon Village for over 11 years. Today, I was told that I couldn't pick up her prescription and pay for it within 24 hours. The way it was presented to me, was very demeaning and totally unprofessional. I felt like I was being scolded as if I were a child being reprimanded. Unfortunately and personally I think this practice will go completely under in the next few years if your work ethic and office attendants don't change their disposition, develop or acquire training on how to effectively c... read more
