I recently had to have my 17 yr old dog euthanized and the staff was just great. So compassionate and kind, I really felt like they cared about her comfort and my grief. Very patient with me as I was having difficulty filling out the paperwork through my tears, no rushing me, gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye. I want to thank the staff for being so wonderful, and for the condolence card and the paw print.
VCA Boston Road helped me through a very stressful time when my 9 month old cat (Bamboo) broke his leg so badly it couldn't be repaired and had to have it amputated. I work in the field and deal with these situations on an everyday basis, but it was a totally different experience when it happened to my cat! Dr. Brace was top notch! Two of my pets had life saving surgeries at Boston Rd this year. One of them was brought back from the brink of death and spent 10 days in ICU. I work in the field and have very high expectations for my animal's medical needs and they met every single one of them! Granted extensive emergency veterinary care is very expensive, no matter where you go-Deerfield, Tufts, Angell or Boston Rd, but thankfully I had the forethought to insure my pets when I got them to help with the costs.
