We are a fourth generation family business. Valpo Velvet was started in 1947 and we still use the formulas that Herb and Gordon Brown perfected with the help of their degrees of Dairy Engineering from The University of Wisconsin. We still make all ice cream fresh weekly from scratch on the premises.

Great chocolate soda!! Haven’t found a place that makes them in years.
Nice time there yesterday and the young kids running the show played it cool in the midst of a mad rush on a crazy ice cream holiday. Nice atmosphere and plenty of items on the menu. I had the premade chocolate and nut covered vanilla ice cream on a sugar cone. It was really good. I definitely recommend this spot!
My husband said it's the best Ice Cream he has ever tasted. He loved the Butter Pecan and the Black Raspberry was delicious.
