We are a fourth generation family business. Valpo Velvet was started in 1947 and we still use the formulas that Herb and Gordon Brown perfected with the help of their degrees of Dairy Engineering from The University of Wisconsin. We still make all ice cream fresh weekly from scratch on the premises.

We got an ice cream cake from there yesterday and it was amazing!! Their ice cream is the best i've had and their food is also great. Our kids love it too and we are so thankful for this place �.
One of my absolute favorite places but had a horrible visit this weekend . Ice cream was old and gummy and tasted terrible and cones were stale . It tasted like they put out last years left overs. Soooo disappointed 😔. Treats here at expensive but usually so worth it- and now I'm sadly turned off and may not return
The ice cream is amazing. The grill cheese was perfect. Pickles an added bonus.
