We are a fourth generation family business. Valpo Velvet was started in 1947 and we still use the formulas that Herb and Gordon Brown perfected with the help of their degrees of Dairy Engineering from The University of Wisconsin. We still make all ice cream fresh weekly from scratch on the premises.

We had sandwiches but salads and soups were on the menu also. Our sandwiches were very tasty and included a dill pickle spear. There were lots of ice cream choices and they all looked very good. We would go again when we are in town!
