We are a fourth generation family business. Valpo Velvet was started in 1947 and we still use the formulas that Herb and Gordon Brown perfected with the help of their degrees of Dairy Engineering from The University of Wisconsin. We still make all ice cream fresh weekly from scratch on the premises.

I felt welcome just by walking in the door. The staff was very friendly. Drove an hour just to try their ice cream and I was not disappointed. You must give them a try! Loved it!
