We are a fourth generation family business. Valpo Velvet was started in 1947 and we still use the formulas that Herb and Gordon Brown perfected with the help of their degrees of Dairy Engineering from The University of Wisconsin. We still make all ice cream fresh weekly from scratch on the premises.

Great service, delicious food and ice cream!
I tried them for the first time the other day with my girlfriend. I had the Frogman Float. I love Green River to begin with but mixing it into a float is just awesome! I can't wait to try their other floats and ice cream. It was especially perfect since it was a million degrees that day and very humid. Give them a try!

This place is soooo good! On top of fabulous ice cream, they have a great food menu which changes occasionally and sometimes follows a certain theme. The staff and owners are super-friendly and provide service with a smile every time!
