I've been seen in the cancer department the big build across the way from VMH an I've got nothing but the best doctors an staff as I went through my treatments! I can't saying anything bad because they always made feel comfortable as I was doing radiation then after radiation I started chemo and everyone was absolutely awesome! As last year I've kicked cancer butt, I was just there on February 22, 2017 for my 3months MIR. they take so long. I asked 5 times and waited over 1 hour to be released . kept making us wait said they would be back in 30 minutes. Im not coming here anymore
It's the ER. I guess what do you expect. Well, I expect the results of my CT and EKG letting me know stroke or not within, oh, I dunno, the first 8 hours? Ugh.

The wait times are seriously ridiculous. I took my boyfriend there with chest pains at 1pm they took him for xrays and all the test he needed done and kept us in the waiting room untill a bed was open it wasnt untill 7:30 and me bugging the staff he finally got a bed. We waited so long for a doctor to send us on our way prescribed motrin and suggest we follow up with his primary. What a joke my boyfriend could not even walk because the pain was so bad. I went to Express Care on Sunday evening after falling and injuring my knee. I thought that it would be faster than the emergency room. After waiting for over an hour I was sent for X-rays and fortunately nothing was broken. I was there for 5 hours waiting to get a diagnosis.
