It seems the VA is underfunded and understaffed. Without proper funding, it will be difficult to improve the current situation. The overall ability to handle the huge number of veterans is straining the entire system.

Broke my hip ten days ago. From ER to next day surgery thru home health physical therapy, the care has been outstanding meeting and exceeding my expectations for any healthcare system including all the civilian I have used or observed in the last 23 year. BZ VA.

I had to use the ER services there last week while my family and I were on vacation. mind you I was coming from VISN 10. IN AN 1.5 hours they had uploaded my medical records, saw me and had my medications ready for me . Top notch service. Thank you for everything.
Been waiting in the ER waiting room close to 8 hours with no idea how long it’s going to be. Getting no answers from the staff just excuses. The kicker is there are people who have been here longer then us. I saw a few people just leave because they were not getting any service. I truly hope I never need to get care in the VA healthcare system.
