You have no right to deny the patients a few minutes of time from the beautiful Ladies...you guys suck!
I can't believe the San Diego VA has denied Pin-Ups For Vets from visiting..These ladies are Veterans themselves and nothing but caring and classy.They have an uplifting effect on those they visit. It's a disgrace. Whoever made this terrible decision has no idea the of the positivity that these visits exude. I belong to a Pin-Up group in Buffalo,NY and we visit the VA regularly. They welcome our visits. We have only been treated with the utmost respect by the veterans and staff. SHAME on you San Diego VA, SHAME on you!!!
The Volunteers at VA San Diego do not run the VA Healthcare system. If Pin Up for Vets wants to visit then get out of their way. Unless you are trying to hide something.
WTF is wrong with you? Why would you deny Pinups For Vets?
What has happened to the VA? I thought they were supposed to be all about taking care of our own. Instead of being grateful when the PinUps For Vets show up to spend time with the patients you turn them away. Not only do you turn away volunteers but insult them by being rude and sexist. To say that they would invite "catcalls" from our vets is horrible. First off our vets deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and not act like they are a bunch of lechers. Good morning. I’m on the third floor room 3117/3118 and one of your nurses comes out to a patient that has been waiting fir a while and needs to be out by 1pm and she had the Nerve to tell him “ we are overbooked that’s why you been waiting for this long” really? We are talking about a gentleman that is probably as old as my dad. If he was my dad that nurse will hear me up!!! Not acceptable!!
Easy access to where you are going to, greeters at the front door will make your day with their nice smiles. Easy for the patients whose having a hard time to walk because their wheel chairs are just by the door the moment you get in the building. Their rest room are clean and also the whole place. And if you need help, they are willing to help you. All the people who works there are very professionals.
