I was a VA patient since 1982 - 37 years years and I own a Healthcare Consulting Company that performed Hospital Accreditation Inspections for the Joint Commission of Hospital Accreditation - I am a healthcare EXPERT. I'm also a Disabled Veteran, a borderline walking quadriplegic with Advanced Secondary Osteoporosis - secondary to Leprosy of my GI tract nerves. In 2019 the VA San Infectious Disease Dept. refused to examine me for Leprosy - they refused to diagnose and treat me, stating I was delusional. Same with VA Dermatol... read more

Stopped in there today without an appointment. I could not have been more pleased when I left, everything I hoped for was taken care of. I was in and out within an hour.

I think it is ridiculous that the cafeteria stops breakfast whenever they feel like it. I should still be able to order eggs at 9:45am. There are plenty of vets who have fasted all night for procedures/labwork and make it to the cafeteria in time to have breakfast, just to find the the workers have decided to close lines or only offer the unhealthy foods that are left. I know that they start prep for lunch at 10:30, but why stop full breakfast at 9:45? Do better please.

C&P exam and the doctor admitted they had formed a bias against me prior to my appointment! The doctor was upset that my case manager even sent me to see them! Very abrasive and dismissive over almost everything stated in my appointment. The doctor admitted in the appointment they didn’t want to talk about any of my medical health issues! I could go on and on about the visit! Worst experience ever here today! Go in for mental health and get treated like garbage!
