With all the bad press the VA has been getting, I feel obligated to speak of my current experience with the DC VA Medical Center. I have been coming here the past several weeks for my Compensation and Benefits (C&P) exams. Everyone here has been fantastic. I have gotten into all of my appointments on time or usually early. Everyone has been kind, helpful and very professional. The hospital is very clean and has a friendly and helpful atmosphere. I only had one long wait in radiology, where I did not have an appointment. When... read more
It was my first time going to the VA in DC and it was such a pleasure great service friendly people and it was clean.
I waited weeks to get an appointment for tbi. Had to go to my primary for a referral, then 8 weeks later I got an appointment. I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes when I finally spoke with the receptionist who informed me they couldn't get a hold of the doctor and I would have to go home without being seen. Third, I've tried to call them four times and was put on hold for over te... read more
My visit was routine. Customer service at the following places were good: Rehabilitation and Orthopedic. Not good: Eye clinic.
I've never had an issue with the exception of booking dates for appointments which sometimes are too long in between.. . Been going there since 1987..and besides that issue.. Everyone Has Been Really Nice.. My Only Regret Now Is That My Primary Care Dr. Whom I had for 9yrs... Left so now whenever they get her replacement (yellow team).. That Person (preferably a female).. Will be as good as she.. Have some concerns on my scheduled surgery in July though after hearing all the bad press.. But have talked to several people who ... read more
Great nurses , doctors, anaesthesiologist , and everyone else that's part of the team period very kind and attentive
They take care of my father in law a World War II (WWII) VET!!!
Okay, The Hospital staff and maintenance crew were outstanding for who I talk to, but I am upset about the condition of the hospital and should be a better condition, the maintenance Crews can only do so much without no money funding. I saw the maintenance crew doing their best, I know it's an old Hospital but it should be in better condition for what I saw, our veterans deserve more
