I am now a 'marked' individual because of a condition I have stemming back to my gastric bypass 16 years ago called malabsorbtion. I have chronic pain for which I was prescribed oxycodone. Due to my malabsorbtion condition the last urine test I took came out negative for oxycodone. So now I'm told I can have NO PAIN medication therefore denying me Quality of Life! Guess they think I sold them or gave them away. NOT SO!
They are getting more information from Salem before proceeding. Everyone was friendly.
I know the VA gets a lot of bad press but all the people I have dealt with there have always been great folks.
By far one of the best VAs I've been to. Prompt and efficient!!!
Despite the current parking deck project, the parking has been an issue since 2008. It takes on average 6 months for treatment on anything serious. The clinics are overwhelmed, they are forced to let veterans suffer to the point where it falls onto the emergency room staff. Because of the inability of the VAMC Richmond Virginia I have suffered nerve damage in my back and now walk with a limp for an issue I brought up in October 2016!
