Get directionsI had surgery there on Friday. Dr Kevin Setter is the absolute best. The nurses were great as well. My only complaint was I never in 3 days saw a housekeeping person. I had to ask to have the trash can emptied and the Charge Nurse is the one that came to do it. They are very pleasant, always coming in to check on me ( as I hardly ever rang my bell ). Certainly if I had to be in the hospital again, Upstate Community Campus will be my choice. And I have been an inpatient at all hospitals in Syracuse except VA.
Was not impressed: very disorganized, they shuffle you around. One doctor comes in and says one thing then the next comes in and says another and has no idea who had talked to you previously. Nurses are run ragid while doctors can't be bothered to see you. Was taken down for a test after I told them they were spose to bring me another cup of contrast to drink before it that they never did. No problems, the staff and nurses were polite and addressed all my questions and requests. Was a short stay, but a nice experience.
Terrible. 50 years of neglect. Some nurses and doctors are great some are unbelievable. Didn't seem like any of them get along always arguing and second guessing each other. They all talk shit about each other. It really is like a soap opera. Get your shit together upstate! You have your hands full with community
