Was a patient in the ER mid December. Nursing staff was caring and helpful. They did however forget to ask one important question- was I diabetic? Perhaps it showed up on the computer, but none asked if I was having any issues at that moment. Luckily, I used my own glucometer to check my level. I guess being a retired nurse, it was one of the first things I checked on a patient.
I always receive poor unprofessional service. Doctors and nurses don't we to listen to patients needs.
They treated me really good when I was in labor with my baby girl

The staff at Hamot hospital are awesome! I received the upmost care/ comfort from the nurses 24-7. My doctor was very helpful in my recovery and guided me through my transition as I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. Also if your going to order any food off the menu during your stay I highly recommend the egg omelet, it's delicious!
I liked it better when it was Hamot .I worked and retired from the Gift Shop. It used to be great to work there, but it has changed tooooo much
