Through the wisdom of Dr. Weinberg, his professional and caring team and our faithful God our son recovered enough to receive his double lung transplant. i had pancreatitus last year in march 2014 and i should have lost my life quite a few times due to complications! thanks to all the staff, nurses, assistants, & esp doctors for helping me and getting me better & back on my toes:)
Nurses and doctors have been great....my only complaint is the food service for the patients was horrible.... Mom needed soft food menu...didn't give it to me to 7 days later....they kept forgetting her meals...and then wasn't even what we ordered her. She couldn't eat hardly anything...then before they moved her in a regular room I asked about her meals..they said they could track her where ever she goes....well here we are its after 2 pm and no lunch yet...totally unexceptionable.... My son had an appointment with Dr Rush in General Internal Medicine on the 9th floor this afternoon. We had Pamela as a medical assistant and I just want to say that she was fantastic. So friendly, out going and caring for what he is going through. She's definitely a keeper! Dec 20, 2016
I can't say enough about the amazing nurses and support staff I had. Tina, Katelynn, Jess and Linda kudos! The job you do is amazing and you do it all with a caring smile and sense of humor. Thank you do much for everything. I will never forget my experiences there because of you all.
