RecommendedIn the past 8 years we’ve stayed here 5-6 times and had a great experience, but one of the reason we loved this hotel was the breakfasts. That has now changed because they upgraded the buffet. I asked what made it upgraded and I was told a made to order omelet bar. So the price for the room is the same yet the buffet is now $10.85 a person? We will find other places to stay moving forward.

Our check-in was at 3, our room was finally ready at 9:30 pm. We were there for a convention and our rooms were booked a year in advance!

Great venue for a charitable gala
It is hard to write how amazing Bridgette and the entire University Plaza staff was to us throughout our wedding weekend. We worked hand-in-hand with Bridgette for nearly a year to prepare for our big weekend. Throughout, because of Bridgette’s care and dedication, we felt that Bridgette was planning her own wedding. Came up last night for a ABA Shriner's event and decided to stay at University Plaza. Worst stay ever at UP! The staff allowed a big party to continue in the lobby until well after 1:30 am. I had to stick pillows over the crack under the door and leave the AC fan on high to try to drown out all the hollering. Lobby bar closed at midnight and signs say something about "No outside food and drink on lobby floor", yet this group was still drinking and hollering like they were at a football game.
