My husband was sent in this Thursday to r/o a stroke. We were both absolutely blown away by the clinical excellence and fabulous care given to him in the ER, on the 8th floor neuro unit and at all the radiology scan procedures. As a geriatric APRN with over 30 yrs in healthcare, it was beautiful to see everything come together so well. This is now our hospital of choice!

Went to the ER at 10:00 am Saturday and every one was very nice but they put us in a bed in the hall way and the first Dr said we are going to admit to watch you over night, that was 11:00 it was after 6 Pm before we were in a room. The reason for keeping was to observe but they pretty much ignored us for 5 hours about every hour and half some one would come buy and say you will going to your room soon. Again everyone was very nice but the system is very unorganized .
They was so wonderful when I had surgery I will go back again if I ever have problems
KU has been there for me for over 5 years now. They found out why I was so sick. They stood beside me and held me giving not only medical care but support. The Doctors and nurse have them most respect and care! I can never thank them enough! Although I am not cured, my life is so much better. I have now have every one of my doctors here at K U.
