Thanks to nurses Rachel (pre-op) and James (recovery) who were amazing in their care of my son AND kind to the worried parents! When the team was running behind, the manager checked in on us too. We can't say enough about Dr. Mullin and the surgery team. From the front desk to the loading in the car, everything was top notch!! I'm a proud employee at the main hospital too!
Just want to say I wasn't a patient but my brother-in-law was he took very good care of him I liked it the staff they truly show a sign of loving and caring people
Everyone was so nice and very helpful. They each made sure I understood what they were explaining to me

They sent us to different offices on different floors and not even in order, like ground to 2nd to 1st back to 2nd. Some clinics made us late for other appointments, 1 person even yelled at us! I've used this hospital before and have not had any problems so I in no way expected anything like this. If it were my choice I would never go back but it's not my choice because I'm caring for a person that had to go there.

I accompanied my daughter for outpatient procedure. Had awesome experience. Anesthesia staff and RN were just the best and of course there is no topping Dr. Grisalano! I was impressed that staff I met in elevator and in the halls were so helpful. Very impressed.

My experience at KU was exceptional. I enjoyed my stay in the facility and was well taken care of before, during & after my surgery. I would refer any and everyone I know if u want excellent care, KU Medical is the hospital to get it. The staff were very caring & efficient. I will be going back in Sept. for a second surgery.

They said they were going to send out the slides of biopsy for my mom's cancer to Omaha and they forgot. They forgot.
University of Kansas Medical Center is a fantastic patient oriented healing center. They bar none are the best experience in medicine and patient care (My humble opinion only). Twice they have saved my life 2009 Cancer Care CML LEUKEMIA, 2012 CORONARY ARTERIAL BYPASS GRAPH 5 Vessels (CABG X5). 2017 They have performed a vertebraplasty not a life saving procedure in and of itself but most certainly it has as intended restored a remarkable QUALITY of life through the relief of back and hip pain.
